Race Report – 21 Wins in 2017

Homare Yamashita took the win in the Philly Time Trial, which also means she is the new Juniors 10-12 Women’s State Time Trial Champion!

Christiana David attended the LAVRA Women’s Sprint session, and won 2/3 of her sprint races!

Bob Francis set a nice PR in the flying 200m at the LAVRA Time Trials. (Congrats!! Hard work pays off!) We also saw him qualify 8th for the Monday Night Match Sprints.

Luke Gerdeman took 2nd in the unknown distance, 2nd in the juniors 9 lap scratch, 2nd in the elimination, and 2nd in the overall junior omnium on Saturday Master’s & Rookies Racing.

Karl Baumart set a huge PR in his kilo time trial at the LAVRA Time Trials, with a 1:08.

Nao Yamashita took 6th in the master’s omnium, with 3rd in the 9 lap point a lap, on Saturday’s Masters & Rookies Racing.

Marvin Hall raced the Monday Night Sprints in LAVRA, qualifying 6th in the flying 200m, and took 7th place overall.

Kurt Sato race the Monday Night Sprints in LAVRA , qualifying 7th in the flying 200m, and ended up taking 6th place overall.

Ivy Koester has recovered from her fractured wrist, and qualified 21st in the flying 200m at the Monday Night Sprints, and won the “D” group sprint tournament. She was the top placing woman on the night!
