BPC Sends 4 Athletes to USAC ODP Selection Camp
We are very proud to be sending Ivy Koester, Kayla Hankins, Nathan Roberts, and Grant Carter to the first ODP Selection Camp at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center this week.
Kayla Hankins and Nathan Roberts are both 2019 JrWorlds Eligible, and will be contesting spots to make the 2019 UCI Junior Track World Championships team. Ivy Koester was a member of the 2018 USA Cycling Jr Worlds team, competing at the 2018 UCI Junior Worlds, and has now graduated out of the junior ranks into the elite category. Grant Carter will be racing age 16 next year, entering the program as a young athlete with the goal of making future Jr Worlds teams. All four of these athletes are current Junior National Champions, some currently holding National Records.
The Camp begins this weekend, and will put them through testing on the bike, in the gym, and on the track. This camp will determine future camp invites, event selection, and racing opportunities.
